Today a team from the IT faculty at Unimas visited the PDK. I had met and discussed of the PDK with Prof Nara when we were in India and this lead to this visit.
The team came to see the place, and our work.
I briefed them on what we were doing, let them see around and interact with the kids. 
We then drove to Kampung Mambong to see the piece of land that we are discussing to buy and to then build our permanent rehab center. We had a good discussion on how to involve others from the University as well as the students. We hope to see something happening out of this.

on the 17th of October 2009 to collect for donations for the running of the center. It will be held at the Dewan Serbaguna Teng Bukap, Jalan Padawan (one of the villages covered by us)
at 7pm and tentatively our YB Dato Dr James Dawos Mamit will attend.
